Its that time of year where the up and coming summer blockbusters start to show you the goods, if you still haven't jumped on the band wagon. Earlier this week we got to see a more impressive second Iron Man 3 trailer and now its Star Trek's turn (probably leaked and not intentional mind you).

Argo isn’t by any stretch of the imagination a bad movie (by that statement alone, you’re probably not convinced) but by no means is it as good or as Oscar worthy as so many people have deemed it. Honestly speaking it just wasn’t my cup of tea and could have been done a lot better.

5 Reasons Why Adults Stop Watching 'Real' Cartoons

There's a reason cartoons are aimed at kids, the colourful drawings and shenanigans don't filter well when your an old pompous windbag.

Image: gawker.com
Now don't you go raising your pitch forks and quoting Gary Coleman, cartoons like Family Guy, American Dad, Boondocks, Simpsons, etc are an exception. They're either aimed at that fake tanned bod of yours or you've grown up with them. Heck Simpsons has been doing its homer dance since 1989 and Family Guy starts at 11pm... (Unless you student it, mwahaha). So shut up and sit down, I'm talking real cartoons, the kind you use to zombie the kids on cartoon network while you sneak off to watch Romans spank themselves on Spartacus.

TV Reel Hannibal Teaser

The TV series prequel of the most told cannibal story ever gets a teaser trailer. NBC's new crime thriller "Hannibal" will be starring Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Caroline Dhavernas and Laurence Fishburne to name a few. Mads will taking the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter a renowned forensic psychiatrist in his early days before his more infamous for his more skin crawling exploits were discovered. Playing his opposite number of Special Agent Will Graham will be Hugh Dancy and Laurence Fishburne will be a reoccurring character as Special Agent Jack Crawford.

I like this new direction they are heading in this iteration of Hannibal and Mads Mikkelsen might just be the man to breath new life into a very tired character that is Hannibal Lecter. Hugh Dancy also looks very capable in his role as Will Graham and haunting Gothic look of it feels just right.

Trailer Reel

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2
The first Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs film was definitely 2009's animation dark horse due to the fact that no one really expected to be as good as it was. Now with the upcoming sequel coming this fall the bar has been raised since their last outing. The new trailer has its moments with the Tacodile Supreme but to be honest its rather disappointing and possibly a little too much screaming.

Scheduled US Release September 27, 2013

A Wonder Woman Fan Film Warner Bros Should Look at!

Oh Warner Bros (sigh) you have the entire DC universe at your disposal yet you are only ever capable of making great Batman films, well ones directed by Nolan of course. Jokes at WB aside, like Captain America or Thor, the Wonder Woman costume is a hard sell unless she's fighting Greek gods or Nazis from WWII and WB can't seem to understand why that is or what they should do. That's why I salute Jesse V. Johnson for giving us Wonder Women as she should be!
