This time last year there wasn't too many good films from the far east to get excited for or even piqued my interest. But 2013 however looks to be a completely different animal for Asian cinema and here are some of the trailers for the first wave of films from the far east.

Top 4 Recent Cartoon Shows You Should Check Out!
One of our writers posted a piece a while back on the 5 reasons why adults don't watch kids cartoons anymore and if want you to read that article, click here. In keeping with the topic I decide to write about the cartoons you should be watching and that are just as good as any serialized TV show currently on (in their own way of course). This isn't the "best cartoons of all time list," since that would be cause all sorts of commotion but will consist of recently finished or currently ongoing cartoons aimed at kids but will also appeal to an older audience.
True quality transcends mediums of entertainment and the cartoons on this list do just that. So read on and find out what shows made the list after the jump.

Reel Hungry's Most Anticipated Movies of 2013
Yes we know we're quite late putting a "Most Anticipated Films" list in March but hey there more than over nine months worth of films left for us to watch. Not only that there is also an ulterior motive for this list. This give us a good chance to introduce all our bloggers and get to scrutinize (Oops!) I mean "look" (yesss that's it) look at their taste in movies.

Ji's Four Most Anticipated Films of 2013
Living in an age where people slurp down pot noodles in front of the telly, the inevitable question “What films are you looking forward to this year?” drifts into conversation at one point or another and after the winter warm up, Wreck it Ralph, Die Hard 5, Django, etc we’ve all set our sights to the summer blockbusters and year end climaxes.

Chris' Most Anticipated Movies of 2013
The Boss man told me to compile a list of my top most anticipated films of 2013 (YES!), it’s probably not what you’re expecting but it’s MY list so your opinions are irrelevant, but please.......Feel free to comment :D.
So without any further ado, in no particular order:

Pratik's Most Anticipated Movies of 2013
Honestly speaking, my top
five anticipated movies for 2013 would include the likes of Iron Man 3, Man of
Steel, Thor: The Dark World, etc. But then that would fill the whole list and I wouldn't get a chance to give you guys a broader idea about my taste in movies.
I can’t have that!! So get this, I’ll take a page from Will’s book and avoid
including all major superhero movies in my list. It goes without saying that I
am extremely (insert other impactful words) excited about those aforementioned
movies, even the remake/sequel of The Wolverine.
So…without any further
rambling, here are my 5 most anticipated movies of 2013 in order of expected
release date.

Will's Most Anticipated Movies of 2013
2013 is one monolithic year for movies and narrowing it down just five films is a daunting challenge. So I decided to change things up by not including any superhero movies or big franchise sequels on my list. It's still only a dent in the mountain of movies I got to pick from. But fear not! My love for far east Asian cinema and animation should add some more diversity compared to previous lists you already may have seen.

Reel Hungry Film Reviews: Argo
Synopsis: A CIA operative leads the rescue of 6 U.S diplomats from Tehran, Iran during the 1979 hostage crisis.
Genre: Historical, Drama, Thriller
Official site: http://www.argothemovie.com
Director: Ben Affleck
Cast: Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Kerry Blishé, Kyle Chandler, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham, Tate Donovan, Clea DuVall, Victor Garber, Zeljko Ivanek, Ricahrd Kind, Scoot McNairy, Chris Messina, Micahael Parks, Taylor Schilling
Writers: Chris Terrio, Joshuah Bearman
Run time: 120 minutes
Argo isn’t by any stretch of the imagination a bad movie (by that statement alone, you’re probably not convinced) but by no means is it as good or as Oscar worthy as so many people have deemed it. Honestly speaking it just wasn’t my cup of tea and could have been done a lot better.

5 Reasons Why Adults Stop Watching 'Real' Cartoons
There's a reason cartoons are aimed at kids, the colourful drawings and shenanigans don't filter well when your an old pompous windbag.
Now don't you go raising your pitch forks and quoting Gary Coleman, cartoons like Family Guy, American Dad, Boondocks, Simpsons, etc are an exception. They're either aimed at that fake tanned bod of yours or you've grown up with them. Heck Simpsons has been doing its homer dance since 1989 and Family Guy starts at 11pm... (Unless you student it, mwahaha). So shut up and sit down, I'm talking real cartoons, the kind you use to zombie the kids on cartoon network while you sneak off to watch Romans spank themselves on Spartacus.

TV Reel Hannibal Teaser
The TV series prequel of the most told cannibal story ever gets a teaser trailer. NBC's new crime thriller "Hannibal" will be starring Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Caroline Dhavernas and Laurence Fishburne to name a few. Mads will taking the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter a renowned forensic psychiatrist in his early days before his more infamous for his more skin crawling exploits were discovered. Playing his opposite number of Special Agent Will Graham will be Hugh Dancy and Laurence Fishburne will be a reoccurring character as Special Agent Jack Crawford.
I like this new direction they are heading in this iteration of Hannibal and Mads Mikkelsen might just be the man to breath new life into a very tired character that is Hannibal Lecter. Hugh Dancy also looks very capable in his role as Will Graham and haunting Gothic look of it feels just right.
