First lets get the nitty gritty bits out of the way and let you bask in the eternal sh#t storm that is 2028 Detroit.

Synopsis
In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years - and it's meant billions for OmniCorp's bottom line. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit - is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer. OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine pursuing justice.

Expected Release: February 2014

I don't know about you, but this trailer has given me renewed faith in José Padilha's Robocop remake. Sure the armored suit isn't as robust looking as the 1987 original and the story's changed but it plays a homage before undergoing the newer tactical look. Don't  get me wrong though, when I first saw pictures of the remake model I absolutely hated them, seeing it put in action however, this look works. Then again it might just be the glowing red visor. 

I think this will do better in theaters than the 2012 Dredd remake, not that it was a bad film it just didn't give us the city wide chaos we were expecting. Care to share your thoughts?
