San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Trailers Part Two

Check out more of news and trailers coming out of SDCC 2013 after the jump!

Check out previous comic-con trailers in our earlier post here!

Batman in the next Man of Steel movie
First item of news the dark knight himself has been confirmed for the next Superman movie. After the success of the Man of Steel we were all wondering what the next logical step for Warner Bros to ease into their long overdue Justice League movie and sure enough it included their most successful hero Batman. The movie is slated for release in 2015 but that not all...

It is also rumored that a Flash movie is in the works for the following year in 2016 and Justice League the year after that, but again they these were just rumors. No word on who will play the new Batman yet, all we know is that this batman is set in a different universe as the Nolan films.

Arrow Season 2 Trailer
Sticking with DC news the hit CW TV series Arrow gets a comic-con trailer and it feature the TV kryptonite Summer Glau. Kidding aside we also got a glimpse of Black Canary in this upcoming season and for anyone with half a brain cell can tell its Laurel (I mean her hair is blonde now in this trailer).

Marvel Phase 2 News
Avengers 2 now has an official title "Age of Ultron" and for those who are well versed in Avengers lore this might come off as arriving a bit soon. This is because Ultron is super advance cybernetic organism created by Hank Pym aka Ant-Man and is set to appear in his own film in Phase 3. But Joss Whedon has reassured that can he can make the film work with Hank Pym at this stage of Phase 2.

In other Marvel New we are given a look at the Guardians of the Galaxy character designs. While I can't say for myself word on the street is that Guardians generate real buzz at comic-con.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Trailer
Never read books but the premise was interesting enough, so I watched the first film and it was serviceable but lacking punch. The first trailer of Catching Fire was quite underwhelming but this new trailer peaked my interest a little. Pitting previous champions against each other definitely raises the threat level from just fighting other kids, now they're are fighting veteran adults. Let's just hope they did away with that horrible shaky cam when ever the action gets more intense than a brisk jog.
